Karen Carpenter had one of the most angelic voices of our time. I miss her voice. The collaborative relationship that she shares with her brother in the music industry is quite complementary to his musical background as composer and arranger. Not that Karen didn't do the same, the Carpenter siblings had the amazing gift a beautiful, close relationship and the contributions that they had made to the music industry has not been repeated. Karen's voice is simply divine and she was robbed from us too soon. The surviving Carpenter still makes music but not like before and not without his partner. I can't recall two siblings who got along any better and many siblings who just can't get along. The Carpenters' music was truly a legandary combination of Karen's great voice and her brother's musical background and backup vocals. While Karen was the star, her brother did not seem to mind her fame. The Carpenters will always be remembered together and it's sad to see the surviving Carpenter without his partner. I'm sure Karen is singing with the angels. She certainly had the voice of an angel on earth and now in heaven serenading God.

Love this, grew up on this music, love her clear strong voice with the energy and feelings coming through. The mastery and arranging of this music is superb, I had forgotten how great it is, even a mediocre singer would sound good! Thx.

this is a great Cd, it is fun and enjoyable to listen to. the best songs on this cd are all of them. if you have not listened to this cd then i recommend you do

They have used "new technology" to give you a New and Updated Carpenters CD in a paper case. Not all that flattering. The CD itself has good quality, but you don't really need to buy it unless you have a thing for collecting all of their albums.
