4.0 out of 5 stars Carpet Rod Brackets, March 23, 2010

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Carpet Rods Bright Brass, Carpet Rod Holder Bracket Right Side (Misc.)
We were missing a few of the brass rod ends from an earlier stair runner carpet installation, and we needed to find some replacments to match the originals. The rod ends we ordered looked very close to the originals and the only problem we had was that the original rods were a slightly larger outside diameter, making us have to put more of a bend in the arched bracket that closes over the end of the rod. We did not need any new rods but the originals are probably 30 years old and used a heavier gauge of material then they use today.

The bracket quality seemed fine and they look very close to the originals, no one would be able to tell the difference after installation. We also bought a few extra brackets in case any others get damaged.
