I have several books about Kahlo and O'Keeffe but was unaware of the life and work of Emily Carr so this book is very important. The author presents a very analytical and incisive look at these artists and their work. It should be required reading in Art History. Very impressive!

These three women were very different in their art styles but equally dedicated to liberated souls, love of nature, and respect for universal and personal truth.
