Many reviews for other long-handled brushes seem to be people using them for washing the tops of their SUVs and minivans, while I needed to scrub mold off my siding. I picked this brush for its length and positive reviews from people using it for other than car-washing.
It has a great head for my purposes. The brushy part is much larger than what it attaches to, making for good coverage, but easily fitting into a bucket. Flexible-but-firm bristles on all sides get under edges and into crevices. The bristles are tightly packed enough that I can dip the brush into a solution and have the brush hold the liquid like a sponge might.
On the negative, like almost every telescoping handle I've used, the pieces will twist around and loosen during use (especially any lateral use, up-and-down seems to work better). It's a bit of fiddling to get the pieces to lock into place. Considering the description (siding and eaves), the helper-handle isn't very useful, but it would be useful for straight in front of you, like washing a car.
I did not try the brush as a hose attachment, since I was dipping it into a bleach solution to better remove the mold.
Recommended with caveats.

I ended up having to return it. Did not work like it was supposed to. Would not recommend this to anybody.Published on December 3, 2013 by Jeffrey Angel
This is a well built sturdy item meant to be used for cleaning home siding, etc. Bristles are just strong enough for the job to be done without marring or scratching vinyl siding. Read morePublished on July 24, 2013 by Teamsternip
Purchased this to clean the siding on my house. Worked perfectly. Eliminated the use of a ladder when fully extended.
Would recommend to others.
Use with the Krud Kutter and you can really make way with some cleaning. A bit on the end heavy side, requires some arm strength but brush cleans goodPublished on March 3, 2013 by 65camino
This is a very flexible and durable brush. I used it to clean my siding with a bleach detergent mix I made myself and it did a really good job. Read morePublished on January 17, 2013 by Gary
When I first took this out of the packaged I thought to myself that that the water connector looked inadequate and cheap, sure enough, as I was using it the connector snapped. Read morePublished on January 10, 2013 by Ken Horn
The detachable handle would not attach with the o-ring in place, so it was completely useless. I tried for a considerable amount of time and with lubrication at one point. Read morePublished on May 23, 2012 by Danyboy
