I bought this for my 4 year old nephew who is a huge bowling fan. He loved this toy. He had some problems using the pin setter, it really requires a steady hand to pull the plastic over the top of the pins. I found this toy to be a lot of fun but not very sturdy. We weren't able to put the spring release trigger on because the hardware was so fragile that it broke on us. We found that we really didn't need it though. I also found the plastic pin setter to be very flimsy. I think this is a pretty good toy, especially if the person who's getting it loves bowling. I think the price is too high for the quality of the toy...

The kids love this toy. It is long enough to require some skill and very sturdy. When we are not using it, we put it on a long table and it is quite durable. The red back folds down so you can easily set the bowling pins. I would recommend this highly.
