This item was an anniversary present to my wife, a master gardner. When she opened her package and saw what was inside, she was very pleased with it. For once, I had made the right gift selection! The Plaque arrived on schedule, safely and securely packed and no shipping damage. For the fun it has given our family I consider this a good value.

Well packaged in a nice heavy gift box, nicely finished and inexpensive too. Will look just as nice being exhibited indoors as out (and will be less likely to be a target of thieves). Way to go 'Carruth' and 'Amazon'!

I'm a big fan of David Carruth. This was a whimsical addition to my collection. Very well made, heavy duty. Withstands years of outdoors.

Originally I hesitated about buying this, but Amazon offered it within the past six months for less than half of what it is currently selling for through Target so I couldn't resist. It is spectacular in my garden. The workmanship is outstanding, and the piece looks even better than pictured. I smile every time I see it.

September 12, 2011 update: This has been out in my garden, completely exposed to the elements, since I purchased it. It looks terrific on my stucco wall, and I would recommend this for any gardener.

I ordered this for myself. I put it on a pillar on my porch. A great accent piece. I am thinking about another for the other pillar.
