Amazon.com Review

Designed with the same delightful wit that you find in all of Carruth Studio's pieces, the frog welcome stone is a charming way to introduce some joy and character to your garden or front porch. "My desire is to provide original designs that not only plant a smile on your face," explains George Carruth. The whimsical grinning frog on this plaque smiles up from his comfortable sprawl on a rock, welcoming and inviting your guests. The stone has been designed with great detail, from the impish grin on the frog's face to the tiny ladybug crawling past him. Cast from an original Carruth design, the stone concrete conversation piece includes cork feet to protect delicate surfaces. It seems that Carruth characters are always smiling, and chances are that with this beaming frog to greet guests, you will be too.

Product Description

This lovely Frog Welcome stone is handcast in concrete with a patina wash and is a perfect accessory for your home or garden. An original design by sculptor George Carruth, each piece arrives in an attractive gift box and includes a gift card.

This little frog is what you see at my front door. He is so cute, and if you don't already have a smile on your face, you will when you look at him. The quality and workmanship is great and I just couldn't be more pleased with this little guy.

This review is from: Carruth 332 Frog Welcome Stone (Lawn & Patio)
This sculpture, no wait! Masterpiece is a testiment to time and will power of man! The frog on top of a round stone with the word "welcome" painstakeningly engraved upon the gray stone will work wonders in your magic elvish garden as it has done to mine. Your elves will bring back their elvish archers and send out their magical horns with signs of peace and harmony. Simply by putting this statue in your garden i can garentee you will feel the magic in the wind. The frog obvisouly symbolizes the injustice the world has seen in the last 900 years, which i believe is when it was made giving the textures, and the stone with writing is a spell but on to it by a magical being, whether he was elvish i cannot tell, but it will give you strength in your everyday tasks like casting metal into swords, cutting down wood for a new home in a forest or even suiting up your horse's for a long journey to town. The welcome seal will not be broken by any counter-spells for all of you evil sorcerors out there (you know who you are). So cash in your cows or gold coins this is a keeper.
