We were looking for something to add to my wifes garden, and she is a cat lover, so this was the perfect addition to a full garden. It is very durable and solid.

I just received this item in the mail yesterday, and I am very pleased with this purchase. The cat and mouse have been depicted with great detail, and the statue itself is quite heavy and obviously sturdy. It is a welcome, and whimsical, addition to the house. I highly recommend this item!

Agreeing with another reviewer, the only reason this doesn't get five stars is the price. It is rather small, which makes it suitable for indoor or outdoor display. Other than that, the cat is very well done. This is my fourth Carruth piece, and the quality is evident in all of them. If you want to give a cat lover something that will be treasured, this is it.

September 12, 2011 update: This cat has been outside since it was purchased, and it has held up to the elements perfectly. I get to see it almost every day when I'm watering my potted plants, and I really love it.

The product is cute and solid. I am pleased with the purchase. Perhaps a little pricey for its size or it would have received the 5th star.

I had added this item to my wish list and received it as a birthday present from a dear friend. This is such a fabulous piece for the home or garden. It even comes with little cork coasters to stick on the bottom so it won't mar your furniture. The detail on this sculpture is amazing. This will truly be a life-long treasured piece of artwork.

Like other reviewers, I felt the item was a bit small for the price. Still, very cute and well done with a lot of detail in the statue. This is a gift for my mother. I'm sure she'll love it regardless of size. Carruth is always a crowd pleaser.
