Cast from an original Carruth design, the stone concrete conversation piece can be freestanding or hung as a plaque from hook inlaid on the back. Having only in recent years become an avid gardener, I'm now reaching a point where I feel my flowerbeds are impressive enough to warrant decorative items. The Annabelle Stone was my first decoration for a bed of mums and pansies.

I apparently did not read the description well when ordering and was quite disappointed to see that my stone was only 3 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches. I would have liked something at least 8-10 inches tall, as it's already becoming a challenge to find a spot in my flowerbed that's bare enough to display such a tiny stone.

My granddaughter thinks the little angel is a likeness of her, so I guess that it's worth the purchase price for her to feel she has a special place in my garden!

While this little plaque is cute as a bug, it is teeny! I was shocked to find it was no bigger than the palm of my hand. Silly me to assume I was getting somethin about a 5X7 size.

Trying to find an appropriate gift for pappa wasn't real easy. First, at my dad's age he doesn't really need anything. He lives in the desert and leads a very simple life. He was so pleased. He loves the darling angel. He was so excited to tell me all about it. He was really really impressed on how carefully it was packaged and the wrapping was very nice. I wasn't sure if he would like the gift. I thought he would put it in his cactus garden. Nope. It sits right above his computer on a shelf so he can see it every day. He adores it. He mentioned that behind the girl there are engravings, I think he said flowers or a garden. I can't remember. In the picture shown it doesn't show this detail. He was so pleased with care Amazon had given to assure his little treasure didn't get damaged. I know it is a gift that anyone would love even an old cowboy! You won't go wrong...priceless.
