This case is semi-hard with a nice soft lining against the screen. It is the perfect fit for the TomTom One 3rd Edition.

I saw the model numbers and assumed this case would be the exact size for my new Garmin 3790T. In fact, this as the new model is, I could fit at least 4 of them inside the case. Not only too large, the internal pouch for accessories is difficult to close with the short velcro tab that locks inside the pouch. Also, lateral elastic tapes make the case almost impossible to open wide. This is a general purpose case - not specific for the listed GPS models. Try something else.

I originally ordered this for my Garmin GPS but with the cloth bag I can fit both my GPS and my XM satellite radio and they wont touch each other in the case. I love the little net for accessories. Very functional and good quality.

I ordered this product with my Garmin nüvi 1370/1370T 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth GPS Navigator with traffic alert and I highly recommend the Hard shell carrying case.
Some of the things that I like about the case are as follows:
-There's a pocket for your GPS within the case which protects your GPS from scratches from your cable.
-The general space in the case is perfect for the Traffic alert Cable from Garmin; just enough space so you don't have to crunch up the cable but not too much that you feel that the case is uselessly big.
-The detail of attention paid to the design of the case: There is a strap which keeps your case from unintentionally flying open after you undo the zipper and think you're part of a circus and see no risk in juggling your keys, cable, cell phone, gps etc etc as you try to put the GPS in the case (or take it out.) There is also a small velcro strap to keep your GPS in the previously mentioned pocket.

I ordered this case for the new Nuvi 3790. My error-I should have realized that any case that would fit essentially all the Nuvi GPS units, from 4 years ago to todays slimmest version, the 3790, would be too big. I accepted that and thought it would be similar to my Lowe GPS glove. Oops!! not even close. this thing is HUGE. in fact, its so big the only way to prevent the GPS from rattling around (and perhaps scratching up or dinging up the GPS) is to leave the gizmo that clips on the back of the GPS (has the speaker on it and the ball socket) attached to the 3790, and THEN it fits in the case nicely. which could be a good deal if you are prone to lose that part (speaker/ball thingy). but then the case IS SO BIG that it makes your briefcase bulge.....

i ordered the thin sleeve from Garmin-that will hopefully protect and let me keep it easily in my briefcase/shirt pocket.

I use this case with my Garmin Zumo 660 and it fits very well. It's hard enough to protect it.

My Tom Tom fits in this hard shell, and I'm satisfied that it's protected. I actually bought it for other uses, such as my cell phone and camera. I'm so happy that multiple items can be safely protected when traveling. I paid $9.99 and wouldn't have wanted to pay more because that's a good price for its size.

I purchased this items 2 weeks ago for my Garmin GPS. I liked it. It's roomy, suitable size, can fit any where in my car, no need for big space to store your things handy while traveling

This is really the perfect case for a Garmin 3790. The GPS unit slides into the soft pocket on the side, and then there's space for the DC power cable and the snap-on back. It all fits tightly, but gently, into the case, and the hard shell does an excellent job of protecting the unit. Uniquely well-designed--we have been very pleased. The only better case would be no case at all--but then you are taking the risk that you might drop the unit (which we have already done once--thank goodness for the case).

Just what I needed so my husband and daughter wont break the charger if they put it in the case
