Yes the gps fits in this case but it does not really seem to be made for the purpose as the straps don't immobilze gps within case and get stretched out if used. Hard is a misnomer,firm is more like it. I was expecting something like samsonite. Yes it will protect your gps from dings and scraches around the home and car, but it you want heavy duty protection, look elsewhere.

I bought this formMy wife's Nuvi 760. The only issue I have is that the two straps inside that are supposed to hold the GPS in place are not very tight, so the unit does slide around a bit inside. Not a big deal, I suppose, since the case is not much bigger than a typical 4" widescreen GPS unit.

I agree with the reviewer who noted that this case is not the best fit for a Garmin GPS because it is really too big. And it is in fact firm and not Samsonite strong, but I think that it is probably strong enough for its purpose. My unit, a nuvi 760, fits into the mesh pocket in the case, but it may stretch out with wear. There is probably a better case out there for a Garmin GPS like mine.

Nice case in and of itself. My only disappointment is that the case is generic in size. The inside dimensions are oversized with respect to the Nuvi. The description says that it is compatible with the Nuvi GPSs units - it is that. It is also compatible with many of the other physically larger and smaller portable GPS units on the market. I was looking for a case that was specifically designed to hold the Nuvi 785t snuggly inside. My Nuvi sorta just floats around on the inside. A good solid case, just a little too generic for my needs. I hope to find a use for it someday. As for a case for my Nuvi, I bought a one specifically designed for it. This oddly enough, fits inside of this case.

The case came quickly and is well worth the cost. It is a little large but that is not a problem for me. It is everything I expected it to be.

Looked online at several cases. This one fits my Garmin 885T with room to spare. Might even have room for the steering wheel voice controller too, but haven't tried it yet. Very hard case - good protection.

I have a Garmin 660 and it is a very tight fit.....the zipper zips but then busts open on the other end. After zipping it back in forth it stays shut but I have no faith in it staying shut.

I bought 2 of these cases. this one is for a small Panasonic radio we have. The radio fits just perfect. The first case I got for my Garmin Nuvi 660. The case is very sturdy and easy to carry. Like the looks also.

I had gotten one for one of my daughters for a Christmas present.

Recommend this case for anyone.

Searched the entire internet for what I thought would be the best case for my Garmin 750. Ordered this one and found it to be exactly what I wanted. Case was delivered to my home in a matter of days.
