This cass is good for other GPS, but the 5 inch with cord not good at all. You can get the GPS in the cass but not the car cord to fit very well.

Simple clamshell design. Works great, but I would like more room to fit
Charger cords in the case.

I read some of the reviews that the cord would not fit in the case. It is true if you leave the screen facing up by closing the cover you could damage it. I found by turning the GPS over and having the back side close with the power cord it fits just nicely. It`s a really rugged case and I would highly recommend it!

Best case ever, better than any previous ones I've had with other GPS units.....fits the Garmin 5 inch 1490LMT to a tee!!!!

This carrying case is very well built and my nuvi 5 inch fits great along with the cord.

I like this case, it is little bit bigger than the GPS. It either should be exactly the size of the GPS Of little larger to accommodate the cables.

This is a good case for the money; there is nothing wrong with it that I can tell; it does the job; is sturdy and appears well made.

My car is a hazard zone and this hard case container for my Nuvi navigator is a survivor. It tucks easily into my purse or briefcase, if I can manage to get it there. But the contents remained intact and continue to function well when it slipped out of my arms last week. I don't recommend this. Charger and cords fit neatly into side web pocket; zipper slides faultlessly to close and open. I do suggest that you place Garmin facing into the side opposite the charger to protect the screen. Where is it now? Flying off the dash, oh no, now it is some where underfoot. I'll find it, Bernie!

Case arrived quickly and was an exact fit for my GPS!!
It provides GREAT protection and sets my mind at ease
in case I drop it when exiting my car.
Don't hesitate to purchase this case! Well worth the money!

The hard case is nice and the elastic straps to hold the GPS in place is nice. Zipper does not work easily and I fear will break over time.
