I must have looked at every compact camera case on the market before choosing this one. This carry case is by far the best quality and comes at a great price. Not only is this an excellent camera case for your car or luggage, but you also get the choice of carrying it using the double-stitched belt loop, or the adjustable shoulder strap (which has rugged plastic snaphooks so it can be detached). The outer material is a thick water-resistant synthetic that is sealed over at the edges. The inside is lined with a foam-backed soft material that prevents scratching and provides shock absorption. The main compartment is sealed with a zipper, which is attached inside-out so the cloth backing seals it and prevents dust entering the case. On the front is an expandable pocket with velcro fastener for carrying extras such as batteries, and the flap for this pocket has another zippered compartment for carrying extra memory cards. The only negatives I could say about this case are the black color tends to make your camera get hot if left in the sun, and the zipper on the memory card pocket opens downwards, so when carried on the belt it sometimes opens accidentally and there is a slight chance of losing the cards. Overall though this is a superior case that suits a wide range of compact cameras.
