Carrying Case / Shoulder Bag for the Canon PowerShot SD850 IS, SD870 IS, SD1000, SD1100 IS

I searched Amazon for LowePro Apex 10AW and I got this item, although they don't give the designation on the page as Apex 10AW, the pictures look exactly right and the fit looks right for a Canon SD-1100. This is a second case for an additional camera for my wife. Enough on disclaimers.

I own an SD-1100 and the LowePro Apex 10AW and I love them both very much. The fit on this case is perfect for the SD-1100. It has nice pockets for the spare SD card and a spare battery. It has a bright orange interior which makes it easy to see the stuff inside. It's tough and compact and well-constructed. It has the all-weather cover for rain protection that stows away nicely.

All in all a great case and a great fit for the SD-1100.

Update on 15-SEP-08: The case arrived and it is actually the Apex 10AW, as desired. A super little case for the SD-1100.

This is a nice rugged little case. I got it for my canon 1100 IS and the camera fits perfectly. It is less bulky than the picture made it look, and that was a nice surprise. It is snug on the camera, but not too snug. It has plenty of room with separate pockets for the battery and the SD card (whereas the hard canon case had no storage room for extras). It can velcro onto a belt (whereas the hard canon case is one solid sewed on line, sewn on both ends,that you have to put your belt through).

It is sort of a rugged Eddie Bauer type of a look, but less obtrusive than I was afraid it might be (looks pretty smooth as far as a rugged bag goes). I am quite happy with it - very functional.
