Slim Soft Carrying Case for Select Sony Cyber-shot Digital Cameras (Genuine Leather)

This is one of the better (the best?) looking cases for cybershot cameras. Unfortunately the weak magnetic latch mechanism isn't something that can be relied upon to prevent your camera from hurtling towards the concrete. Don't trust it (hasn't happened to me but easily could), make sure you hold the case upright and with the caution. Also, there is no belt loop or other means to attach this case to anything else. So effectively what this case does is for me is sit inside another case which holds my extra memory, battery, etc. Not exactly the use I had in mind. It's a bit too bulky to fit inside your pocket without looking awkward. It is decently padded inside, but the weak latch is really a potential problem.

All in all I would not recommend this case unless the issues above aren't important to you and aesthetic considerations are your only concern. I suggest buying one of those hideous nylon cases which may look bulky and dorky but at least will do the simple job they where designed for.

Oh yeah, no pockets or sleeves for anything else in this case, not even a tiny extra memory card or anything. A functionally bad design all things considered.

The magnet is small and does not catch. My camera slides right out, the weight of the camera is too heavy for the strength of the magnet. I am planning on returning this and getting a different case.

I recommend going to a store and trying different cases on the camera even if they aren't Sony Cyber-Shot cases

the only reason i gave it a low rate is that on the site it said for slim cybershot,while it is way TOO big for a cybershot T90,it could fit n 2 or more cameras!but if u have a larger camera then it is great,looks great,but no enough pokets,,not even a memory card pocket or something,and the magnetic lock is poor...

I am a habitual review reader before buying online. At first I was a bit skeptical of purchasing this case because of the mixed reviews but am so happy I gave it a try! This is a fantastic case that fits my Sony Cybershot PERFECTLY! Not too big/loose but not too snug either. The style is great...very sleek with quality leather and durable fastening. The price makes this an easy choice if you're looking for basic camera protection. If you need storage, however, I wouldn't recommend it. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!

I keep my Sony Cybershot DSCW300 in this case at all times and it works perfectly for me. It protects my camera from getting scratched up in my purse. It's not the slimmest case, but I wouldn't keep my treasured camera in any case without substantial padding, and this one fits the bill. I've never dropped my camera, but if I did, I believe this case would protect it.

Like a previous reviewer said, the magnetic clasp isn't incredibly strong, but I carry my camera by the wrist strap that came with the camera (which is easily accessible with this case), and so no pressure is put on the clasp.
