This is soooo much better than the other Cars game! The 'Radiator Springs' one is too simple and short. That one only has 10 levels and not much meat to the plot.

This one has more than 30 levels with races AND mini-games!

It's a bit like the Simpson's Hit & Run game. Like a very tame Grand Theft Auto 3. Family friendly in all ways. A very large city to explore and errands to run to open new tracks and gain points and extra abilities. Some great stunts to perform too! I'm 35 and i LOVE this program! I think i might let my 7 year old son play it sometime.....

We downloaded the Cars demo game for our 3 year old and he loved it so much we started looking for the full version. All we could find at first was Radiator Springs which got terrible reviews, so we didn't get it. Then we found this game and my son LOVES it! It's just like the demo, but has lots and lots of racetracks, games and extras! One thing my son really wanted to do in the demo but couldn't, was drive around the town and explore. In this game he can do that! The only bummer is a bunch of the game is "locked" until you earn bonus points. You can easily bypass this by getting the cheat codes from the internet, but you have to key in the codes every time you start the game. Oh well, small price to pay I say. I still give it 5 stars.

I was so excited to get this for my young sons but when I tried to install it on two different computers, I was alerted both times that there was a virus on the game. Unacceptable!!

I was sent the wrong item instead of CARS PC game and it caused a virus on my computer so I had to return it.

We were sent software with 3 games in it, not the software as advertised. Worse was the Trojan! Security caught it and I had to confiscate Santa's gift to my 5 and 6 year old and try to explain why Santa would do such a thing. Wanted to give it a no star rating but system doesn't allow.

Got the game for my kids... who are 2 and 4. A little too young to race, but they like cruising around aimlessly and crashing into things. The game has modes where you can do just that. Good enough for them. No "damage" to the car, just keep on driving. So teh fun is not interrupted when the car stops working. My force feedback wheel was a total pain to get working, until I learned that there was one more page of controls to enter in the settings. "game controls" it was called I think, seemingly nothing to do with steering but you had to program those too for the wheel. Which by the way has no force feedback. Just centering, no bumps. And it takes a lot of wheel turning to make the car turn, not very responsive at all. maybe another setting somewhere. My wheel has a "realistic" over 360degree turning range, that's probably it. A cheaper simpler wheel would work better.
I haven't played the game much myself. it's good entertainment for the kids.

the game was in great condition and my son loves playing with it. thank you so much for having it availabe and for such a good price.

I tried many things to try to make this game work. NOTHING!! I can't even express how frustrating it was to try to make it work. I tried multiple video cards, but nothing. I called the makers of the game and Dell and they couldn't figure it out either. The makers of the game just said, "Well sometimes there's nothing we can do to make it work." My son was so disappointed.

Take care if you order this game that they do not send a combination CD with 2 other games. The Cars game in this combination does not work as it is missing a 2nd CD required for installation.
