Bought this for my 7year old son who is a Cars fanatic so when he saw the commercial he said "I want that". Found it on Amazon and so far we haven't been disappointed. I'm thinking that the first reviewer got a lemon because our works great. It has been able to keep a charge since day 1 and it does climb the wall. There is a button on the remote that says wall that you do need to push to enable it to climb up walls. It states that it needs a ramp at a 90 degree angle to make it work and we have done that on a few occasions but on others my son has been able to just drive it straight up without having the ramp. It does need 6AA batteries that are not included and I went ahead and got us some Duracell batteries since I know that they work great and we've been able to charge and play for hours without any incident. Only the remote uses batteries and the car is plugged directly into the remote to charge the car. So far everything has worked so I have no complaints.

This is a car that our six year old has wanted since cars 2 came out. He was using his own money to buy this car. Since it was not avaiable in the Disney store we had t order it online, We received the Car and hewas super excited to get it becuase it would go up the wall. We opened the box and you could tell that it had been used and returned to Amazon this is one of many things that was wrong with this toy.

This car is poorly made. It is plastic and has no weight to it help it climb up the wall over the trim on the floor. It does drive on the wall but only for a short period. The "fabric skirt" which is really plastic does nothing to help the car on the wall.

THis car does NOT keep it's charge. You charge it by using the remote, we charged it one time with the remote and it worked for about 6 mins. We charged it again and it would not work after that. We used brand new batteries and it still would not work.

This is a dissapointment all the way around. Save your money and buy something worth while.

Was disappointed to discover the car will only work on super flat surfaces and will only transition to a wall if the wall has no base molding. It will not run on carpet at all and gets stuck very easily on tile. My home also has textured walls which prevent the zero gravity features from working. The only place we could actually see the zero gravity feature was on the sides of my kitchen cabinets. I would steer clear of this product unless you have perfectly flat floors and walls and no base molding on your walls.

My 4yr old son loves it. Even my mother, 65 yrs old, has a ball playing with my son as this car climbs walls and so much more!We have found something that everyone can play together, in the house, without the TV on!

I bought this based on reasonably strong reviews of others and my daughters love of Cars character. I gave it to her for Christmas from Santa Claus so you can imagine how upset I was when it both did not run and had no instructions with it. Luckily, she just commented that one of Santa's elves did not do a good job and left it at that.
The concept is great but I have no idea whether it actually works the way it is advertised. It appears that we were shipped a previously returned car and they forgot to include the instuctions with it. After seeing how poorly it ran (it would turn on and haltingly move forward and back) I understood why someone else returned the item. I was upset that it appears as if it was randomly sent back out from the warehouse.
I would give this a zero rating if it was possible. Amazon has been good with the return for refund (I would not trust to get another version of this car).

It is a great concept, however it does not work all the time... It has trouble climbing walls without a little help... once it gets a push it usually goes for a while...does better of course climbing down with gravity's help.... It does not do well on the floors either unless you turn on the suction that is made for the walls to help it get a good grip to the floor to move... My son does love it though.. I give it 3 stars because it works half the time...
