I bought this book for our 3 year old grandchild, they took it on vacation with them and it kept him occupied for long periods of time.

This is at its most simply a story about the Cars movie so don't expect anything new here. When you can get your child interested in reading though, it's worth every penny.
From an arrogant do-it alone McQueen, to learning respect in Radiator Springs, and to winning in spirit at the Piston Cup it's all here. Here for mommy or daddy to read at bedtime (or anytime or that matter)!

A big beautiful well illustrated book for your Cars fan!

...and everyone else! I totally recommend this book for every storytelling parent/older sibling and their children/younger sibling!

This is a great summation of the movie. My 2 year old son wants us to read him this book at least once a day, and he will also look at it on his own, point to the characters, and say their names. He has also learned the words: crash, wreck, and tire from asking questions about pictures in the book. I'd highly recommend this book for any child who likes the movie Cars.

It is the same story as the movie, you are not going the get anything extra. But it is a good opportunity to sit down and spend time with your child. And could be a good introduction to get into the habit of reading books instead of just seeing the movies.
