We bought our son the Shake 'n Go Raceway when he was 17 months old. It has been a very fun family activity. We just bought Mater and Lightning McQueen today and he has already played with them for hours. They are fun with or without the racetrack, but I highly recommend the racetrack (they go faster and are confined to one area of the house). He loves to shake them and make them go. It is very fun for him because he can do it all by himself!!!! Fun for kids 1 to 101!!!!

This little car is wonderful. My son loves it and won't put it down. We also have to Lugi car. He plays with them together and absoulutly loves it. I would recommend it for anyone. He is almost two and it safe for him to play with.

$22.99? Wow that price is very high considering that I just bought a Shake & Go McQueen for $8.99 at Fred Meyer. I have seen them in store for only as high as $15.99. So, check your store, and prices! These little cars are great, durable,and tons of fun!

This is a great, fun toy but I have to say that it is much cheaper (11.99-14.99) at your local Wal-mart or Target. I sent amazon an email about the outrageous prices for this inexpensive toy...they said they would investigate, but seemed uninterested! We own Lightning Mcqueen, Ramone (red and blue),Dinoco, and the same Doc Hudson they are selling on here for 59.99...except I paid 11.99 at Walmart (local store)!!

Tow Mater is one of several Shake and Go Cars (among them Red the Fire Truck, King, Sarge, Sheriff, and Chick Hicks, to mention a few). The toy looks great, feels great, and sounds great; my son loves it. However the current price is simply outrageous: $48.99 plus $4.99 shipping!!! We bought ours in Greece from a regular toy store for 14.99 Euros, which is less than $20.00. Careful who you buy from!

you want $38 for this toy? They retail for about 13 to 14 dollars, it is such a rip off, Amazon should not allow this and I am a good customer who has spent thousands of dollars on Amazon.com and I am about to throw in the towel....these toys are the best but this price is absurd!

Purchased this truck which was hard to find (could not find in stores) for my almost three year old grandson. He could easily turn it off and on and enjoyed it just as much when he had it turned off. Got it with the "Lightning Mc Queen" car and he plays for hours!! Very durable and great for the imagination.(Especially after the kids watch the "Cars" movie. Would buy again!!!!!!

Grandson loves this Car. This one is kind of hard to find in regular stores and he was delighted when this one arrived. Easy to use and so far unbreakable.

My son got his first Shake 'N' Go racer for his first birthday, and figured out how to use it almost immediately. He's since gotten a couple more, mostly of his beloved Cars characters. They're even more fun than the regular racers since they say cute things in addition to making engine sounds. In general, the Shake 'N' Go series is one set of toys that he doesn't seem to get tired of, and Mater is his all-time favorite cartoon character. An added bonus is the fact that these toys teach cause and effect (the more you shake it, the farther it goes), which is less trivial than it sounds for a 1-year-old.

Note that the Big Toy Hut price listed here is about double what this toy costs in the major retail stores. I don't know why.

Very cute car, durable as well. My three year old drops it , unfortunately throws it as well. It has gone down stairs, and even was put in the dogs water bowl. It still works fine and we are still on the first set of batteries. Very cute A+
