This isn't really a loupe, it is pretty big. But it is a great magnifier for use with small crawling things and such. This is a great thing for kids to take outside. Watch out for little boys with this though, it makes a fine solar ant immolator.

I didn't realize that it was as big as it is before I received the package. But, it's still a great product. I was expecting a size of around 2" and it is really about 5" across. A great way to see bugs close up as along as they stay still long enough.

This is a nice magnifier for kids, and a good value. It's heafty enough for a little rough handeling, and magnifies well. It's also easy for kids to handle and hard to loose.

i thought that i might be wasting my money on this product, but instead I feel that i got way more than I expected. It's very convenient to use since you don't have to hold it up all the time. I don't use it for bugs, but I do use it to see slight imperfections in handwritten letters.

This magnifier is excellent. It is easy to interchange the 2 magnification lenses. I highly recommend this magnifier for children as well as adults.

I guess I thought that I was getting a bug jar....basically the bottom is open.

What you going to do? Go out and catch a Black Widow spider...release it on your table top and throw a bug loop over it? .....maybe I'm just using it for the wrong critters?
