Have two of these and they are great for all the things we receive in small print, and its lighted-yea.. You can't go wrong with this and the price is reasonable too.

I bought this magnifier for my dad who has lost vision due to macular degeneration. Unlike other magnifiers purchased, this one really works. It has made reading the newspaper and the mail much easier.

This square lighted magnifying glass is excellent for the price. It is light weight enough for older people to grasp, easy to load the batteries and the light is adequate for reading at night.

This lighted magnifer is the best purchase I have made in some time! I wish I had bought it long before now. It helps with seeing other things than reading too.

The magnifier part of this product works once you accept the fact that it was designed for right handed people. My major complaint is with the lighted part. Instead of an LED the person who designed this product actually used an incandescent flashlight type bulb, the reason behind this design completely escapes me. Not only does this mean that the light produced is very weak compared to an LED but also the the bulb is far more fragile and will need to be replaced far more often.

If you, like myself, are looking for a lighted magnifier that produces a bright, white light then give this one a miss.

I bought this as a gift for my father. Although he is 84 years old he is still active and can often be found tinkering in the garage, working in his yard or working on a project for one of his great grandchildren. Many times reading the instructions on the back of a box or bag can be difficult. This seemed to fit the bill. It is compact and will fit in his pocket if he wants to carry it to the garage or his small greenhouse. The light gives a little extra illumination for dark areas and the manification is just right for instructions on the back of many bags and boxes.

This is a nice magnifier and I really like it. Only thing is the batteries run out fast if you use it to read by. But for just everyday use of looking at labels or other things close up it is great and I like the folding handle.

This magnifier is large enough to cover the width of a column in a magazine article. The handle folds down, making it easy to carry in the bag provided. It will fit easily into a shirt pocket.

I've used several other lighted magnifiers but never had one that improves my view for reading as well as this one. The angle of the lighting is great. I'm learning Hebrew and now have no trouble seeing points around the characters even when the print is not so clear. Note that this one uses 3 button style batteries (like the ones that go in watches). Most drug stores carry them, butt might be best to keep an extra set on hand to be sure of having the ones you need.

I bought four of these - two for me, one for my husband and one for my mom, and we've all been using them every day since we got them! The rectangular lens is great for reading, and the light is fine. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the handle more ergonomic. You can see in the manufacturer's video that the person holding the magnifier has his thumb on the top of the handle, and that's the way I want to hold it too. When using it for more than just a minute or two it gets tiring to hold it, because it's like the curve of the handle is turned the wrong direction. Still, I would recommend this magnifier and would buy it again.
