Product Description

From the Manufacturer

Tha Carter Stabilizer Band Saw Guide allows woodworkers to make intracate contour and scroll cuts never possible before with traditional guides. The Stabilizer fits most 14 inch and smaller band saws and is used with 1/4 inch or smaller blades. Each kit includes a body that slips into the slot normally occuipied by the saws upper side support blocks and a specially grooved guide wheel to allow the blade to "turn" in the cut while still holding blade firmly in the verticle position. The lower guides are no longer needed with the Stabilizer and simply backed out of the way.

Product Description

One piece item, replaces upper side guides. Remove upper side guides & mount Stabilizer in their place. Back up upper thrust bearing. Open lower side guides and back up lower thrust bearing. When you use the Stabilizer, it's the only piece you use when using 1/8" - 1/4" blades.
