This baby book is great for a baby boy. I love the baseball stitching detail in the first page as well as throughout the book. The bear is the cutest with his baseball hat and football helmet. This book is great if you love baseball, football and some soccer. I was looking for a baby book that had something to do with America's past time. My only dislike is that it is binded like a book and not a spiral; which makes the book thick and it doesn't close all the way because of the photos and ticket stubs I have glued into the memory portion of the book. I solved that problem by tying a blue ribbon around the book to help it stay closed. I only wish the binding wasn't so tight. This is an awesome boys book. I highly recommend it. Just use a ribbon to keep it closed once you've added lots of photos and other memories that are not just written in.

At first glance I was very pleased with this purchase and even began filling out the initial pages. It asked tons of questions which I loved. I wanted a book that would keep all those memories that I am sure to forget. After looking more closely though, I was disappointed to discover that this book does not have section for monthly updates for the first year. This is something that was a must for me. I want to be able to document what's going on with my little guy at 4 months, 5 months, and so on. Because of this, I purchased another baby record book. It was by Carter's as well, but it is the "Child of Mine - Baby Boy Memory Book". It does have pages for monthly updates. Hope this helps!

This is exactly what I was looking for! Perfect for parents not wanting to jot down every bitty detail, but include the specials "firsts" and capture it with pictures. The book begins with giving info about mommy and daddy, then about the shower, leading up to the birth. The main parts include areas for "firsts," such as teeth, words, laughs, walk, and holidays. The last part of the book devotes a page for ages 2-4 to record a picture and what some favorites were during that time.

I found this baby book on the Babies R Us site, but they did not have any available for an indefinite amount of time. I wanted to take the baby book with me to the hospital so we could have his handprints/footprints stamped in it, as well as have all of his "visitors" sign it, so I found it on Amazon. The price is very reasonable, and even with expedited shipping, I still only paid the normal sale price that I was prepared to pay at Babies R Us. The book itself has so many cute pages and covers all of the basics. It even has a page for hospital bracelets and lots of pages in the back for miscellaneous keepsakes. Also comes in a somewhat hardshell plastic box which has already protected ours as it has traveled to/from the hospital. I've heard that the "girl" version is just as cute!

I searched high and low for a baby book for my son. love this baby book. MY son's nursery has a sports theme so this works perfectly, and I love Carter's, 75% of my son's wardrobe is Carter's. The pages are really cute, there's enough space for his information. It's not over detailed, and there are blank pages that you can use to fill as you please, so it's a great way to customize it.

I love this product- I had gotten a different baby book for my daughter when she was born and it lacked a lot of sections that this book had--- love this product--- and love the super fun sections the book provides! I love filling the book out because there are things ive never thought of, such as pages for the daily news when your child was born----letters from mommy and daddy to the new baby----and MUCH MUCH MUCH more!!!! Good price for a Good product!

i agree with what others have written but i needed a baby book fast
it would be nice to be able to add his artwork etc (add more pages)
and it has some funny things like "average cost of a vacation". i don't know?
but those kinds of things are interesting to look back on
also, i didn't want to record all of his gifts. but it has pages for that.
some of the things are helpful that it asks for.
if u have a baby shower - it's good to have the book before then so that you can record all of that in the book b/c it has pages for the baby shower
i'll just be creative and put pictures over the pages that i don't want to fill in.

i'm overall happy with it.

This is a great book if you not big on the whole "theme" idea. There is only one page for a baby shower though.
