These are the perfect size to use on a nursery or pack and play changing table. However, when you wash them just a few times they get really "nubby" and look like they've been throug World War II. If I knew where my receipt was, I'd return them! I expected more from a brand name such as Carters.

These pads don't hold up well at all when you wash them. I haven't even used them, but followed the directions to wash before using, and after the first wash, they are now rough to the touch and starting to fray at the edges. It doesn't even feel quilted against my skin, I can't imagine this would be comfortable against a baby's skin. More than a little disappointed in this Carter's product...

I bought a pack of these with my son when he was born and they were great. I used to change him on the bed in the night and put one down to prevent accidents. I used to put one under him on the carpet, etc and if they get when they absorb it as opposed to the plastic mats which the urine just runs off. I went back and bought another 3 packs for myself and several as gifts. I have also bought the cot sized one which I put on my bed so that if he happens to be in the bed with us, he can't wet through to the matress. I travel a lot and it is still amazing how many places don't have changing facilities and these are easy to lie down anywhere, including on your lap and are soft and so fold quite small. They do get a little tired in the wash, but my son is now 26 months and I am still using the original ones and they don't look too bad. The ones with the imprints on them keep a little better. I have now just bought a second crib sized one to put under the twin bed sheet, so if my son wets himself in the night I only have to change the sheet and the mat and not the matress protector as well.

These are too large for the changing table, and the diaper tabs stick to them. Velcro sticks to it also. They are decent at absorbing though...

I actually really like these pads. Yeah, they're not the softest and cotton would have been better, but they're the perfect size for the lap, small tables, the bed, the play gym, etc.

Since we're doing Elimination Communication, I'm just starting to take my son out of diapers full time so these pads are great to have around the house, especially in my lap, in case of pees or poos.

Plus, mine are washing fine. A little pilling, but not too bad. I do dry them on low heat in the dryer, but I don't know if that really makes any difference.

I will probably order more of these over the next few months when we go longer and longer being diaper-free.
