I cannot believe all the great reviews. I never even got to use these sheets because they shrank to 50% of the original size when I washed/dryed them for the first time (and our dryer doesn't even get hot). I was a stupid first time mom who registered for 4 sets and washed all of them together. Had to purchase another sheet set (2) which we've used for 2 1/2 years. This is at the very top of my stupid baby purchases.

We got several of this style sheet, as well as several of the easy-fit sateen sheets. The sateen ones are great, and after 20 months still fit on the mattress, but this style shrank to the point that it no longer fits at all. Waste of money.

I bought these for my girls' mattresses. The pattern is great. They fit actually a little big, but nothing to worry about. My daughter(s) are not going to get caught up in the extra material or anything, and I'd rather have them a tad big than too small (already had fitted sheets too small and it's a pain trying to get them to fit on the mattress). Very pleased with our purchase.

We purchased these sheets for my son because he is really into balls/sports and was moving into a toddler bed. The sheets fit perfectly on our crib mattress and were soft & did well going through the wash. I couldn't find a crib sheet like this at other stores - this one was just what I was looking for.

These sheets are really cute and fit well over the mattress. The fabric does feel a little cheap and stiff. I washed them as soon as I took them out of the package which made them feel a little less stiff. I think they will be perfectly fine for the crib though. Nice colors!

I bought these sheets, they are perfect.
great fit(mattress size is 130/70/10cm), soft good quality cotton, breathable, yet thick ( it's not see through, as someone else said). I believe it will also fit a 15 cm mattress. The price is good. very nice collers, easy to wash( washinemachine), I drip dry.
I have 3 of these sheets, will buy more, because I have a 4-1 confurtable crib , so I'll use these longer, perhaps 2 to 3 years.
You don't need to look furter.

I've had these sheets for 17 months. I love the print (blue and brown polka dot), but they are thin, they shrink, and pill up after a few washes. I don't think they are very soft and actually prefer the solid Koala Baby Flannel from Babies R Us as far as softness. But, if you are looking for something to cover the bed, look cute, it does the job and affordable!

I too am shocked at the excellent reviews this sheet has received. I purchased this sheet from a major department store on sale. I tried them on my daughters mattress and the sheets were roomy. Well that was on June 6,2011. I had this print and another cute dotted pink and brown sheet also from Carters. It was yesterday July 9th I went to put the sheets on her mattress and I saw that the corner was slit! I washed these sheets on delicate cycle and the mattress is new with nothing that could have punctured them. I looked at the dotted sheets and you can see tiny holes forming where they too will rip on the corners.

I am so surprised that since these sheets are a name brand that they performed in such a poor manner. I guess those who gave this product 5 stars got lucky with a better quality of material. I promptly returned these sheets for a refund. I actually have a crib sheet that is 16 years old from my first daughter that is still in excellent condition. Such a pretty sheet...but in my experience not worth the money.

Before buying a pair of these sheets, I did not read the product description close enough; they are only 200 thread count, which is quite low, and therefore not very soft. When I took the sheets out of their new product packaging, the chemical smell was so strong, I had to wash them twice before they were ready for crib usage. After two washings the sheets still feels like fine sandpaper. I hope they soften with additional washings.

This sheet definitely has a nice pattern that matches the color of our room, but the fabric itself feels cheap and not soft at all. I would go with something more jersey or better yet just go to a store and feel some fabrics. Either way, my baby doesn't seem to mind so it does the job and fits the mattress quite well.
