Hi.. My husband and I saw these (they also have a pretty version that is a tall format) in a museum gift shop and we were immediately attracted to the beautiful covers. He offered to buy me one, then he realized that from what he could see the postcards would rub against each other, (when the album pages were closed) as the cards face each other in the album. Those of you that have bought it haven't mentioned that and while that may not matter for modern postcards it surely would not be good for vintage ones that were delicate or glittered, etc.

A handsome and handy way to keep and share memories of other places or even other times. A wonderful idea almost perfectly resurrected from oblivion. The book's unique shape offers personality. The die-cut pages hold postcards well and are a good, neutral color allowing any postcard to look its best. I have only two caveats. First, those wonderful-looking covers are plastic, not leather, and plastic can crack at the corners in an unattractive way. (Leather ages gracefully.) Second, I don't know if the pages are acid-free, so I don't know if this book offers archival storage. If it does, the publisher is missing a chance to tout the book's quality. If it does not, the user must consider the danger of using the book for really good cards, e.g. old, rare or hand-painted postcards. But then, the price is nice and reasonable. My first copy was a welcome gift; I plan to buy more.

This product, while it charmingly recreates an art nouveau album, is not for any serious collector. It does not appreciably protect the postcard by any means and mounting cards is difficult in the slits cut into the album pages which do not fit all smaller sizes of postcards well and are troublesome when trying to mount cards on both sides of the page. If you fill the album, it will not lay flat but fans out and is not particularly attractive.
This may be fun to show a few cards of recent sentimental value or a recent trip, but don't use it if you care for the long term condition and integrity of your postcards, particularly older ones.

I have collected random postcards for years, and everyone I know knows it. This adds up to several postcards a month! This book was given to me as a gift, and it was one of the most thoughtful gifts ever~I am ready to order another, since my book is almost full. The end papers are gorgeous.

I was delighted to find this. It is a very well made product. Took a few minutes to figure out how to get the postcards situated properly, but then it was easy going. A great way to keep and view your postcards.

I'm buying my second copy of this book. I've filled the first with postcards from museum visits. I keep it on my coffee table. Guests like to look through it, and so do I! It brings back memories of wonderful museum visits. There is enough space to make a brief notation next to each postcard. I note the date and museum visited. I'm so glad I could locate a source to buy another on of these albums.

I looked high and low before finding one of these. I'd about given up and then found this one from Amazon and what a find. It's been most helpful in organizing and viewing the post cards I've collected over the years!

Beautifully done. An elegant way to keep post cards

This book truly is beautiful. The paper is thick with a lovely pattern. The cover is nicely embossed and it is very well constructed.

Very nice postcard display book. While it cannot fit all sizes of postcards, it can hold up to a 4x6 size. I like the feel of the cover and the way the book can lay flat.
