Out of the sea - LIFE. Creatures evolve from the sand - each one unique to a task. Immediately they begin to work cooperatively to build a castle. Hoedeman has filmed animation in the genre of claymation using sand on a beach. This film is a masterpiece that appeals to children as well as to the most sophisticated cinemaphile. It belongs in every family film library and can be enjoyed over and over again with no loss of fascination. A true classic in the art of film animation.

My love for this VHS tape cannot be properly expressed in any language mankind has invented thus far. I watched this constantly as a child, and its stories remain so very close to my heart and inspire me to this day. When I have children of my own, they will no doubt be raised on this as I was.
