Editorial Reviews

Cartoon Scandals is a collection of over a dozen theatrical cartoons. Most were originally released in the 1930s or 40's and later, in the 50's during the broadcast hungry days of early TV. These cartoons drew no unusual objection then, but by today's standard, they are considered quite offensive or risque and are either severely edited by current censors or banned completely from commercial TV. This tape presents complete uncensored versions of these classics: Bugs Bunny Bond Promo, Daffy The Commando, Scrub Me Mama with a Boogie Beat, Tokio Jokio, All This and Rabbit Stew, Uncle Tom & Little Eva, Superman & the Eleventh Hour, Sheep Shape with Blackie, Little Black Sambo, Betty Boop in Be human, Three Little Kittens, Mad Doctor with Mickey Mouse, Jungle Jitters, & Lenny Bruce's Thank You Mask Man. Recomended for Adults

The cartoons are what you would expect, over and over. Maybe worth a few bucks for the historical/social viewpoints, interesting to see what used to be acceptable (more to some people than to others), but repetitive and quickly boring.
