2.0 out of 5 stars DEJA VUE FOR 2007 EDITION, January 3, 2007

This review is from: Cartoons from the New Yorker 2007 Calendar (Calendar)
I love this calendar, but the 2007 edition is a disappointment -- most of January, so far, consists of re-runs of December, 2006. Ok, they re-run some of the cartoons periodically and some are classics, but really, are they running out of material? It's very noticeable since the duplicates aren't even a month apart, and it's annoying and gives an impression of cheapness.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Much Repetition, January 11, 2007

I loved having this calendar in 2006, so I got it again for 2007. Sadly there have already been too many cartoons from late last year. I don't like to look ahead, but I wonder if there are more of the same cartoons ahead. You would think that The New Yorker had enough cartoons to not repeat year to year. I won't buy it next year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good material., January 10, 2007
This review is from: Cartoons from the New Yorker 2007 Calendar (Calendar)
This is the first year I have purchased this item (as in, did not have earlier editions of it), so all the material is new to me. If you have not had one of these in the past, it is worth checking out.

The comic on the front of the box says everything about the tone and sort of humor in this calendar.
