My husband bought this game for me and our little boy and when I saw it I was'nt too excited about trying it out. However, after I played it-I could'nt stop! There is so many great things about this game! I spent 2 hours the first night I played it going through trying to learn new stunts- that is the best! I would highly suggest this game! Its only around $10 bucks new- can't go wrong in buying it!

I just finished playing the demo for this and it was pure fun. The graphics aren't the best, but when the controls are good and the game is fun, then who gives didly squat about the graphics. Plus it's an xbox live compatible game ands it only $19.99! This is a great buy. It's quite a bit like wave race 64. The stunt mode is amazing, but not quite as good as wave race 64. If you are having doubts about my review then just rent the game and see for yourself!

What an awful game. For me, it had no value at all. Here we have a game that is bad & lacking in every way. I've owned better games than this that I got rid of because they were crappy. Few games are crappier or more pointless that "Carve". This game made me tired. Maybe it is good for little kids? Or folks who don't do much gaming? I hated this game so, so much. Straight AVOID this game called "CARVE" any way you can.

I bought this game because I really liked the old wave racer for Nintendo and was hoping for something close to this, but... first off The graphics are terrible for this, they are barely PS1 standards. To add to this, the water sprays onto your screen (which is a cool affect for the atv game they made for the xbox) but on this game due to the graphics already being bad, the water spraying adds to that horror of seeing the track. The controls are good, and the only good about the game.
Finally, I could have looked past the graphics, but it was the live mode that did it in for me. EVERYONE knows how to cheat on it, which completely defeats the purpose of the game, for example, I was racing a 5 lap race, some guy kept sitting at the starting line, and not moving, and I wondered what he was doing, then on the 5th lap he automatically went to first place and best lap. I originally thought it was my imagination, and played him again, and witnessed the same thing, I called him a cheating *profanity* and when he heard me say that he left the game in a hurry. So there it is, terrible graphics, and no point in playing it live. I was fortunate enough to get a good trade in on it so I didn't lose money, some of you might not be as fortunate!
