This review is from: Carved and Decorated: European Art Glass (Hardcover)
Originally published in Japan in 1970, at one time this was a rare color photo book with lots of glass styles. It has 1-3 photos per page. Although titled as "European" it is English and French glass. A single page is devoted to each of these countries: Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, and Germany. There are no photos from Italy or Sweden. There are some nice examples of cameo glass, unusual shapes, and modern styles.
Books that will really address your passion for glass are: 1) Sotheby's Concise Encyclopedia of Glass which covers a broad range of styles and history, 2) John Sandon's Starting to Collect Antique Glass, or 3) Miller's Collecting Glass both of which have large varieties of styles and outstanding photos. I own all three as well as others.
