i've got mine on a motorcycle....
...and though i've had to fashion the mount(i use half the stock piece/skrew plus a ratcheted tie down)...this thing delivers; i've hit speeds of 80mph w/ no glitches; top flight gear....

A bit about the carver surf rack
The surf rack for is pretty good, its stable, adjustable, lightweight and does the job. However, its definitely not worth the price if you ship it internationally. The installation instructions are pretty basic and does not fit all scooters. I had to cut the metal bit off my rear rack. It works best if your scooter rack is flat and has grills cause the racking mounts are...

The surf rack for is pretty good, its stable, adjustable, lightweight and does the job. However, its definitely not worth the price if you ship it internationally. The installation instructions are pretty basic and does not fit all scooters. I had to cut the metal bit off my rear rack. It works best if your scooter rack is flat and has grills cause the racking mounts are pretty wide approximately 15cm by 20cm with one straight line through the middle for the bolts to go through. Some installation tips: bolt & washer/large plate goes on top of rack, heavier plate/nut with 4 drilled holes goes below the rack.

Excellent engineered product. I could not have done it better myself, and I'm usually pretty critical. It bolts right on, the hardware appears of good grade, and I like the ability to remove the J-hook arms when not in use.
