Sometimes the music we in the US hear from Brazil is overproduced, slickly packaged stuff. This is more like folk music, but oh does it swing. Beautiful melodies, raucous cavaquinhos, excellent musicianship all around. Move beyond what David Byrne likes, and get the real samba.
