I love the look of the Casabella Eclipse line, but I love even more than it's all made in the USA from recycled plastic bottles. This mop has become my all-time favorite mop for my new home with tile floors throughout. I have used traditional mops, sponge mops, and the Libman and O'Cedar cloth mops which all had their own unique hassles. The Eclipse mop is very intelligently designed to work with the matching Eclipse mop bucket, so you just dip the mop in the water and press it into the grid insert to get out the excess water and you're ready to go - no bending over, no wringing! The mop cleans extremely well with the included microfiber pad, which picks up dirt and cat hair no problem. I like to use water, vinegar, and a little Dr. Bronner's lavender soap, and with this mop my floors looks great. I can even remove the pad and wash it in the washing machine! The handle is aluminum so it's very light weight even when wet. With the matching mop bucket, my floors get clean without drips and spills like a regular mop and bucket. I love it!

I purchased the eclipse(tm) Microfiber Floor Duster, the eclipse(tm) Microfiber Sponge Mop Head and the eclipse(tm) broom head. I really liked the idea of having interchangeable heads for the pole. The green plastic on the mop head broke within the first week, and the green plastic on the floor duster broke within a couple months. What a waste of my money. I went to the casabella.com website and left a review for these products, but casabella has chosen not to post the reviews.

This system is an over-rated mop/dust cleaning system very much on the same line as the competing dry & wet pad cleaning systems you get from drug & grocery stores.
Dip the small floor scrubbing head into your solution in the bucket, then (YOU)
PRESS IT DOWN onto the plastic grid (which hangs on the edge of the bucket) as the method of removing water. This 'wringer' is primitive, labor-intensive and an insult to my intelligence as well as a challenge to my arm & back strength. Not enough moisture can be pressed out of the scrubby head to allow it to soak up what's now on the floor (and the scrubber head material is not designed to soak up water anyway). Keep a towel handy for that wet floor.
Misleading description of how the mop 'wringer' works.
Bottom Line - Total Waste Of Money

I notice that the description says the bucket is not included, so this is not really the complete system. I found the system including the bucket for $80 online at a store which is not at all a discount store. The list price of $170.94 is waaay off.
