Between excema, a variety of topical skin allergies and just flat out sensitive skin, I've always had a difficult time doing dishes and other wet cleaning. If I do it bare handed, I end up with dry, peeling skin. When I used dish gloves, my arms would usually break out in a rash. The Casabella gloves are the first ones I've ever found that actually worked: the lining is soft and non-irritating, the cuff keeps the water out of the glove and they fit my hands well. As an added bonus, they're sturdy-but-flexible and provide a good gripping surface for cleaning. (Keep an extra pair stashed away, though -- when mine wear out the fingers tend to suddenly fall off.) These glove are also excellent for all around household cleaning; I've got pairs designated for cleaning the fish tank and scrubbing the bathroom -- much to the joy of my hands, husband, and dermatologist.

These are almost what I'm looking for. They fit well, and I appreciate the rolled-up cuff. I don't like that they aren't lined, and even though I'm not allergic to latex, there is a very strong latex smell after taking them off, necessitating a long hand scrubbing, and negating some of the benefit of wearing them in the first place. I'm going to try the "True Blues Ultimate Household Gloves" next, since they're lined, machine washable and non-latex. We'll see.

Edit: I first wrote the review saying that these were very durable. However, since then they have cracked all over the place. Maybe this is an acceptable lifespan of a pair of gloves - I think I got them about a year ago. I now use the True Blues gloves and will never go back.

I LOVE these gloves. I have been using this brand for about 3-4 years now and will not buy any other kind of rubber glove. They last SO much longer than any regular rubber gloves you can get in the grocery store and they are longer to keep your arms dry, they also don't leave your hands smelling like rubber for hours after doing the dishes. I have one pair for dishes and another reserved for all my other cleaning, they are the best!

This has been my 10+ pairs of Casabella gloves already, and I am still coming back for it, probably until something super inventional came up, I will use this as long as they offer it.

Normally, a pair of washing gloves will only cost you as low as $0.99, why spend this much? Let me tell you why this worth..

With this pair of gloves, you can feel the quality of material used, the cut and fit on your hands, the durability and the design, all very well made together. If you are not concerned about quality, you can skip this review. I have been using this for 6 years, started off with their heavy duty gloves in purple (no longer made, product discontinued), and now come to this, which I would not think to try others since Day 1.

With dishwashing, I always use hot water to rinse out the oily substances and dried food stuck on the plates/bowls/silverwares. With this gloves' thick material, it protect my hand from being burned, and also to prevent the spilled water to run down my arms with the folded ends. A lot of other products designed with similar design, but this folded cuffs actually has extra holding folded seams to make sure it stays and won't flip. This is the subtle difference in the design of the produce you are paying for. It is so reliable, that it gives me the peace of mind whenever I have to do dishes. For day to day activities, it is definitely worth to invest in good quality products, you will enjoy more in even doing chores.

Apart from dishwashing, I have been using it to remove steaming items from my rice-cooker (if you know how tight the spaces are inside it..), pressure cookers, etc...

If you are going to put your hands in water or do any kind of cleaning and you don't want your hands to look 20 years older than you are you are going to end up using gloves. Eventualy you will find this product and then you will never buy anything else.

I love these gloves and so does my housekeeper. But they are priced higher than Bed Bath and Beyond here. I'd buy them here if they matched the price.

These are by far the best rubber gloves out there! The small actually is a small unlike the yellow ones that fall off my hands, and the length is perfect. I also love the slight flair at the end to keep water from running up your arm when your cleaning the top of the shower or other high things.

These work great and I use them every day. Not only do they keep my hands dry, but they keep the hot water from scalding my hands. Would recommend them to anyone.
