5.0 out of 5 stars Best Dish Gloves Ever
Between excema, a variety of topical skin allergies and just flat out sensitive skin, I've always had a difficult time doing dishes and other wet cleaning. If I do it bare handed, I end up with dry, peeling skin. When I used dish gloves, my arms would usually break out in a rash. The Casabella gloves are the first ones I've ever found that actually worked: the lining...

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than most, but still several drawbacks.
These are almost what I'm looking for. They fit well, and I appreciate the rolled-up cuff. I don't like that they aren't lined, and even though I'm not allergic to latex, there is a very strong latex smell after taking them off, necessitating a long hand scrubbing, and negating some of the benefit of wearing them in the first place. I'm going to try the "True Blues...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Dish Gloves Ever, December 30, 2005
Between excema, a variety of topical skin allergies and just flat out sensitive skin, I've always had a difficult time doing dishes and other wet cleaning. If I do it bare handed, I end up with dry, peeling skin. When I used dish gloves, my arms would usually break out in a rash. The Casabella gloves are the first ones I've ever found that actually worked: the lining is soft and non-irritating, the cuff keeps the water out of the glove and they fit my hands well. As an added bonus, they're sturdy-but-flexible and provide a good gripping surface for cleaning. (Keep an extra pair stashed away, though -- when mine wear out the fingers tend to suddenly fall off.) These glove are also excellent for all around household cleaning; I've got pairs designated for cleaning the fish tank and scrubbing the bathroom -- much to the joy of my hands, husband, and dermatologist.

I'm going to try the "True Blues Ultimate Household Gloves" next, since they're lined, machine washable and non-latex. We'll see.

Edit: I first wrote the review saying that these were very durable. However, since then they have cracked all over the place. Maybe this is an acceptable lifespan of a pair of gloves - I think I got them about a year ago. I now use the True Blues gloves and will never go back.

If you are going to put your hands in water or do any kind of cleaning and you don't want your hands to look 20 years older than you are you are going to end up using gloves. Eventualy you will find this product and then you will never buy anything else.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cotton Flocked? Don't Think So...., June 26, 2009

I was disappointed to see that these gloves are not "cotton-flocked." I was going to return them but changed my mind. They are heavy weight, well designed, and durable. Over all, I would like the cotton lining but felt that these were worth keeping.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!, April 16, 2008
I LOVE these gloves. I have been using this brand for about 3-4 years now and will not buy any other kind of rubber glove. They last SO much longer than any regular rubber gloves you can get in the grocery store and they are longer to keep your arms dry, they also don't leave your hands smelling like rubber for hours after doing the dishes. I have one pair for dishes and another reserved for all my other cleaning, they are the best!

These are by far the best rubber gloves out there! The small actually is a small unlike the yellow ones that fall off my hands, and the length is perfect. I also love the slight flair at the end to keep water from running up your arm when your cleaning the top of the shower or other high things.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not cotton lined, August 21, 2011

Despite the description and the packaging, these gloves are not cotton flock lined. Although I did not use them, bc I will be returning them, they also appear to be too thin to protect against very hot water.

These work great and I use them every day. Not only do they keep my hands dry, but they keep the hot water from scalding my hands. Would recommend them to anyone.

I discovered these gloves not long after I figured out to roll up regular rubber gloves when I was washing pots. The rims on these gloves are considerably more effective than rolling up regular gloves, and if that's not enough, the pictures on the box are amusing enough that you'll want to post them on your wall. No? Well... That's what I did...

5.0 out of 5 stars There is no other glove, January 28, 2011
This review is from: Casabella Premium Water Stop Gloves, Medium 1pr (Health and Beauty)
I wash my dishes in hot hot water so gloves are necessary. I used to use the standard yellow gloves but these are hands down much better. They are thicker, longer and last longer. I used to rip a hole in the yellow ones every month at least. I just poked a hole in my first pair of Casabella gloves that I've had for over six months. Replacing them with a new pair, will never use another glove.
