We have very contemporary high gloss black bedroom furnature.. finding a nice fan and one that matches was very hard to do, but this fan looks great and with a 15 degree pitch it really moves the air! It was subtantially more weight than our previous fan but due to the clever way Casablanca allows you to mount your fan inside the cowling it was simple to install if you have the right tools. The remote works great too and removes the need to addtional wiring for the light. The light can also be used as a dimmer. This is a faily expensive fan, but its worth the money as I said, solid and well built...

This is by far one of the most powerful air movers I have had. I have always bought Casablanca fans for their quality and reliability, and have not yet been disappointed. The only criticism I have is the design of the remote control. It does not have clear markings for one to know which button you are pushing. The numbers are embossed in the same color as the background. They need to have contrast for those of us with less than perfect eyesight. Have a wallswitch installed and spare the grief!!
