Not Worth It,

I purchased these for my wife and I. There are both going back tomorrow. The previous reviewer was right. The drink holder will not stand upright in a fixed position as shown on the web page. The bottle just swings in space and is real irritating when you are paddling. The holder is too small for a one liter wide mouth bottle which is what we prefer to use in our kayaks. It's also too short for a bicycle type water bottle.

Eh. If you are a kayaker, and you're out for just a few hours and you want a 16oz bottle of bottled water, then this is for you. If you are in a canoe on a 5 day trip and a 20oz water container. then...not so much. It has a funky clip that slides from the side which is difficult to do with everything attached and dangling. It is so it can be used with different profile boats, I understand, but the idea of having a quick, detachable drink holder just doens't work here. The materials and sturdiness are fine, it just didn't work for how I needed to use it. The mesh bag is a cool "extra" for wettable items.
I'm leaving it behind my next trip.

The Yakuzzi is exactly what the promotion says. It evens holds a water bottle bigger that what it says so I was happy about that. I've put my standard stainless water bottle, that holds at least 20 oz,into it and it fit into the kuzzi part just fine. (The kuzzi is the same size as kuzzis that are sold at most stores for plastic water bottles and beer bottles. As far as slipping down, I think that your kayak would have to have a lip of some sort to hold it from slipping, but it works great on my boat, AND you can adjust the angle up or down depending on the bottle size that you are using simply by tightening or loosening the draw string. *My only concern is that once clipped onto the boat, it is a little more involved than just reaching for your water bottle once you decide you want a drink. You either have to remove the bottle from the Yakuzzi or unclip the kuzzi part from the boat clip or unclip the entire thing... can be done but it will take a bit. I wish it could be made with a more permanent type bottle holder rather than just a kuzzi, then you could easily slip your bottle in and out of it while on the go.

This was the biggest waste of money.,

The picture shows it standing upright but in fact, there is nothing holding it except as a swing and so the top of your drink spills out if you'r using a can, which is what I bought it for. For the money, there are much better items for bottles that cost alot less.

I absolutely love this. It holds my water bottle perfectly and is easy enough for me to get to. Follow the instructions that came with it and you will have NO problem with it.

This product creates more paddling fun with no mechanical
changes to the kayak. Not much to do except clip it on--no driling!!

If you use it correctly it works just fine. I gave it only 4 stars only becuase i wish the can holder part was bigger. It works fine for beer bottles, cans, and the small water bottles (it may be that it has is a smaller drink holder because larger drinks will get warm before you finish them...donno?) If your having problems with it slipping under and spilling, make sure that the black cord is on it's hook like in the picture. Now if the clip itself is sliding down then this product doesn't fit your kayak, but i have tried it on 3 different kayaks from 3 diff manufacturers and they have worked fine. I am contemplating trying to make a larger koozie part that will hold a Poweraide...if it works it will be perfect.

I only wish that the bottle cozy would be able to accomodate larger bottles. Other than that, it's a great value, and it seems to be more stable than I expected it would be.
