This review is from: Case Book: DSM-III-R Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Revised Edition (Paperback)
This book has nothing at all to do with nursing homes!! It does have to do with diagnosing mental illness or mental disorders, with interesting actual case histories with the details (including followups on these cases.) The case histories are inside slate blue boxes on the pages, which make it very clear and easy to keep track of where the various actual cases are located, and what the "discussion" of each one is. Great organization.
Chapters include disorders in adults, in children and adolescents, international cases, historical cases, with appendices of case names, special interest cases, classifications and more. 510 pp. |
