The main blade is dangerously sharp and holds an edge pretty darn well!

Smaller than the historic- made in the US by Camillus scout knife- the fit and finish are excellent.

Ok, So it isn't as big as the perfect boy scout knife that you used as a kid.
But it is called the Scout Jr.
And in fact. It can do pretty much everything that the slightly bigger brother can do, and this one fits on your key chain.
Which is where I keep mine.
Knife blade, bottle opener, and leather punch work great. I haven't tried the can opener yet.
Oh wait one.

OK. Can opener works every bit as good as the larger standard scout brand.
And this is a Case. Tight built. Very sharp. Very nice looking.

It cost more than the Chinese copies. but from the reviews I see of them, this is worth the price.

Anyway, I love mine.

Made to a very high standard; almost too nice to use; excellent utility, and the beauty is more than skin deep.

I have the bigger version and thought I lost it. I ordered this little one to replace the old one. It is little. It is a small pocket knife. No deer skinning or farm work for this little shaver. Luckily I found my old one and gave the little guy to my son. Well made but to small for a country boy pocket knife.

This knife has a nice sharp blade and the tools are everyday practical, unlike SAKs which sometimes have tools you'd never use and blades that do not take a very sharp edge. It's lightweight and easy to carry in the pocket. Manufactured to Case's usual high standard. A knife I'm proud to own.

I received this knife as a Christmas gift and I'm very impressed! It's smaller than my Camillus BSA pocketknife, but lighter in weight and higher in quality, too. The bottle and can openers are smaller than what's on most scout knives, so using the two tools can take some getting used to. The main blade is dangerously sharp and holds an edge pretty darn well! I haven't used the awl yet, so I can't say much about it. The amber bone handle is beautiful and can't be fully appreciated unless you hold the knife in person. This knife has easily become my EDC knife.

Smaller than the historic- made in the US by Camillus scout knife- the fit and finish are excellent. I think that it will be my standard carry pocket knife- unless my arthritis gets bad- Given that it is smaller and lighter- it is less effective in using it as a weight on the end of para cord to throw a line over limbs to rig tarps-tents-bear bags. However it is much easier on the fabric of trousers
