If you enjoy hardboiled tales of detection, take a break from all the gloom and doom and flip through this quick, funny read of a detective so dense he doesn't even realize he's the victim of every noir cliche. Much like the Steve Martin movie "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" only sillier but without Rachel Ward.
