5.0 out of 5 stars The Hungry Stranger, October 8, 2000
A Kid's Review
This review is written by my 9 year old son Morgan

He gave it 5 Stars

I really liked this book, because it is a mystery. Most of my friends like mysteries too, but I think I like them the most One of the reasons I gave it 5 stars, was because it's easy to read, and it kept my interest. I was interested in finding out who did it. The characters in the book are Wizard, Tubby, Skinny, and Snitch, I liked their different personalities and how they think. The Story is a mystery about who ate the blueberry pie. It took me about an hour to read, but it was worth it. It would really excite me to read other books by this author.

4.0 out of 5 stars a mystery for kids, November 13, 2008

This is a quick moving story at 64 pages for early readers. There are plenty of pictures and Bonsall does a good job of making the text and illustrations tell a fun story that will interest young readers with good friends, nice neighbors, new friends, a dog, and a mystery solved. Plus the story will keep you guessing, the mystery isn't given away right away.

This older book still has value over 40 years after it was first published.
