4.0 out of 5 stars Just your basic carry case
Pros:

- Not too pricey

Cons:

I got this case (in green) recently for my new Canon SD1100 IS camera. If you just want to protect your camera from daily wear-and-tear, then I would recommend this case for its semi-rigid body and durable exterior. If you're looking for aesthetics, this case is probably not for you. The craftsmanship is poor, and the detachable strap is very flimsy. Also, you shouldn't get this case if you want to carry all of your various camera accessories at once. To summarize:

Pros:
- fits most compact point-and-shoot cameras
- semi-rigid body / durable exterior
- reasonable price
- comes in a variety of fun colors

Cons:
- poor craftsmanship
- flimsy detachable strap
- not enough room for additional camera accessories (e.g. charger, etc.)
- colors may not be as shown

I got this case (in green) recently for my new Canon SD1100 IS camera. If you're looking for aesthetics, this case is probably not for you. The craftsmanship is poor, and the detachable strap is very flimsy. Also, the green color of the case is darker than the picture shown on the website indicated. Finally, you shouldn't get this case if you want to carry all of your various camera accessories at once. To summarize, I made a list of pros and cons:

Pros:
- fits most compact point-and-shoot cameras
- semi-rigid body / durable exterior
- reasonable price
- comes in a variety of fun colors

Cons:
- poor craftsmanship
- flimsy detachable strap
- not enough room for additional camera accessories (e.g. charger, etc.)
- green color is not accurately depicted

3.0 out of 5 stars OK Camera Case, June 2, 2009
This review is from: Case Logic ECB-1 EVA Digital Camera Case (Pink) (Electronics)
I would have liked the case to contain some kind of padding to protect the camera's LCD screen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection, February 21, 2009
This review is from: Case Logic ECB-1 EVA Digital Camera Case (Pink) (Electronics)
I've had this camera case for 2 years and I don't have one complaint. I have the older Canon PowerShot A590IS and it was very difficult to find a case that was big enough to hold it yet stylish enough for me to use. This case holds both my camera and two extra AA rechargeable batteries. There is a mesh pocket on the inside, perfect for holding your memory card if you have a slimmer camera. I always get compliments on this case and I'm so glad to have it!

3.0 out of 5 stars just OK, September 18, 2008

This camera case is all right. I bought it for the Canon 1100 IS, a camera I bought partially becuase of its petite size. The case is way too big for the camera, but yet not big enough to keep the charger or anything but a few extra cards or a battery inside. It's nice and sturdy, and certainly protects the camera, but if you're not careful the things you put in the little picket inside will fall out because it's not a tight fit. The pictures of the product aren't too helpful, but I can tell you it's not a snug fit on the small Canon cameras. If you're looking to stay small like the camera, pick a different case.

5.0 out of 5 stars What do you buy a small camera case for?, August 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Bought this to protect my Panasonic DMC-ZS7. It is one of the larger and more expensive compact digital cameras. Sure if you have a digital SLR costing $1000 you probably want a large compartmented bag for extra lenses, etc. If you bought a compact digital camera you are probably looking for a decent camera that is always around when you want it without toting a portable studio with you! Put this little case on your camera and toss it in your purse or backpack. It hardly adds any size to the camera and protects it well. It's been on a 10 day Ireland trip, to Breckenridge, and all around DFW in my wifes purse. It simply protects the camera, and very well for the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Canon SD1100, June 16, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Case Logic ECB-1 EVA Digital Camera Case (Pink) (Electronics)
My Canon SD1100 fits very well in this case. It also has enough room to hold a few other things, such as camera wires, maybe a memory card reader, and another battery or other memory cards. (Maybe not ALL of those things at once, but you get the idea.) The inside has a net that separates it into two compartments. The wrist strap is a great feature. And the case is pretty sturdy; it's not soft material (yet it's not hard plastic or anything.) I think if I dropped it while my camera was inside, my camera would be fine.

a great tough case but not a slim soft one for you to carry around so easily in your pocket(but it will fit in a loose pocket)....but it's a nice case to just throw in your backpack and not worry about it getting damaged...and it has room to store some accessories in my case i put a spare battery and a spare sd card...a great buy
