It fits my Canon camera perfectly.

The build quality seems great, the material seems to be a happy medium between soft case and completely rigid, and the zippers are sturdy as well.
TonyB
The sides of the case are stiff plastic offering some impact protection and the inner lining is soft.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
When I ordered this, it was described as a HARD CASE for a point and shoot camera. I wanted something that I could store my camera in to travel with or throw in my backpack on a hike and not have to worry about my camera being damaged and this sounded like just the thing. In reality, it is and it isn't.

Is it a harder case than a fabric camera case? Yes.
Is it hard enough to be relatively crushproof like, say, an eyeglass case? No.

Some issues I have with the case:

1. With my bare hands, and very little pressure, I can collapse the empty case to half its size in the middle of the case. The edges are better reinforced. Again, it is not what *I* would call a "hard case."

2. The case is only padded on one side (the back) of the case. There is no padding at all on the other side--just a thin fabric lining.

3. I found the zippers quite "draggy"--i.e., opening and closing them took some effort, especially when the case is in the fully-open position. Sure, you don't want the zippers so free that they fall open and risk your camera falling out of the case, but you don't want them to slow that you miss a shot because you couldn't get the camera out of the case fast enough.

4. I found it pretty cheap looking for the price.

Pros:

1. Shoulder strap for the case is included.

2. The case provides a place for a belt or fanny pack strap to go through so you could wear it vs. having to hang it around your neck.

3. There is a pocket inside the case to keep accessories away from the camera.

First, I'd like like to point out that this case is for "PRO" (Professional) point and shoot cameras. What this means is that if you have an ordinary Point-and-Shooter, this case will be a little too big. Case Logic has exact case like this for those cameras (without the "PRO") which is smaller (EHC-101-BLACK).

If you own a camcorder, Case Logic also has another similar case, which is bigger (EHC-103-BLACK).

It makes sense that this model's part number is EHC-102-BLACK.

A "PRO" Point-and-Shoot, a.k.a. "Prosumer" camera is mostly twice as thick as regular ones. A perfect example of these cameras are Canon's G-Series cameras. I tested this with a G9 and G15.

What I like:
+ Fits snugly.
+ Padded back side.
+ Shoulder strap.
+ Belt loop - useful if you're riding a roller coaster. LOL!
+ Dual zipper.

What I don't like:
- Camera fits too perfectly - that an extra battery or the neck strap won't fit inside with the camera.

Mixed:
± The quality seems good for its price range. The shoulder strap feels cheaply made though. I've dealt with many kinds of zipper and I know this one is good.
± Inside pocket seems useless. They should have made it into a padding instead.

Bottom line, you can drop your camera in this case and it won't break or scratch. The lack of front padding is OK, since the EVA material used in front looks durable enough for this purpose.

If you are looking to put accessories into the case, I suggest you get the bigger model (EHC-103-BLACK).

VERDICT: I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I bought this for my Lumix LX-7, but it's too tight a fit. I don't like compressing my camera that much. Too bad, this looks like a nice case.

Getting a case for your point-and-shoot camera is an excellent idea -- I speak from experience having cracked an LCD screen while traveling by train through Europe. So for that, this Case Logic fulfills the task.

The zippers are well constructed and it fits nicely in a handbag, or you can use the shoulder strap. Having said that, I wouldn't exactly call it stylish, and I'm not very fond of the bright blue interior fabric. My other complaint is that this is not a truly "hard" case and I can see if it really got directly banged the camera and/or the LCD screen could suffer damage. A hard case should be totally rigid. Still, it should provide adequate protection for most situations.

This case is bigger than what I expected for a "Point and Shoot" camera case. The quality is good. I wound up using it for my small Flash Video Camera, though it's a tight fit for that.

Great little hard shell case. Perfect fit for my Panasonic LX7! It's nice that it comes with a long shoulder strap. It still fits easily into my purse.

As the review title suggests, I bought this specifically for my Panasonic DMC-LX7 Camera. It's a very tight fit and upon looking at the pictures again you see that the camera shown doesn't have a lens cap (it's that tight of a fit with the cap on). I give it a 3/5 because it's a nicely made case, I'm hoping it stretches after a while to fit my camera better, it also won't hold your battery charger but I wasn't looking for that in a case I just wanted to make that note here. I would definitely recommend Case Logic brand to other people, but the picture is a bit misleading on what it can actually fit. This case would be great for the lower end point and shoots that do not have a fixed lens on the front of them. For reference my camera is 2" from lens cap to screen so keep that in mind when shopping.
