I have a lot of CDs and wanted to get rid of the jewel cases to reclaim some space in my living room. I read a lot of reviews before buying this case, and here is what made me choose it.
PROS * Space for a lot of CDs (208 in the pages, 16 more up front) but not so many that it's a pain to carry. * CDs are inserted from the top, *not the side*. This is huge because otherwise all the CDs would shake loose when carrying the case by it's handle. * The handle is a definite plus for a case this size when more than half filled. * Despite what manufacturer says, you *can* fit both the CD booklet and the CD into each pocket. Have not filled all the pockets yet, but have done so with another similar CaseLogic case. Some reviewers said that the pages filled with booklets and CDs will exceed the capacity of the binder. Again, have not filled this one to capacity yet but did not have this problem with the other similar case. Case Logic CD-R ProSleeve® Binder - 192 Discs * Exterior is nice-looking black faux leather, smooth so easy to clean. CONS * Like every other CD wallet, the zipper comes nearly all the way to the edge but leaves a gap for dust to get in. I get that this is pretty unavoidable, but why not put the gap on the bottom rather than the top. That way no dust would get in, and way too small a gap to lose a CD. OTHER * The "binder" does allow pages to be pulled in and out for rearranging but I don't really plan to make use of that. Some people don't like that it only opens in front (so that all pages in front of the one that you want to remove must also be removed), but hardly a concern because I'm not going to be doing this several times per day. * Some people complained that the binder is a little flimsy. Have not had problems with it but have not really stress tested it yet either.

Only one complaint,

My only complaint is that it's a pretty tight fit for liner notes. I had to do some adjusting to get some to fit at all. But from all the binders I researched, I'd probably still choose this one.
There's more space available even when filled to original capacity, so I want to buy refill pages, but they're currently out of stock here on Amazon as well as on Case Logic's website. It's bulkier (wider spine than another CD binder I have with the same capacity), but this also allows for putting in refill pages to completely fill it up.

Like most people who have a lot of music &/or movies, the plastic cases just take up space. This case allows for great storage of discs, regardless of type. The pages allow for 4 discs and 2 jackets, and you can purchase additional pages as necessary. The only downsize is that the books are wider than one would expect, and there is no way to label the books to see what they contain from the outside binding.

I like the design. The faux leather is nice. I have one of the woven nylon versions, and it collects dust that isn't easily wiped away. The detachable pages are nice, but small nuisance is having to take them all out in order to re-arrange them. The fold-flat handle is nice, too. One other model has the handle that is permanently "bulged out."

The case is cheap, poorly stitched vinyl with no charm. It's not nicely done at all, lumpy and the seams don't match up. Really disappointed in the quality given that I have 3 other Case Logic cases this size sold at nearly the same price and much greater quality (many many years ago, granted). I will not buy Case Logic again and certainly no other cases without inspecting first. My bad.Aside from that, the company that shipped it- Adorama, sent this thing out in record speed. Seriously received the item one day after placing the order. Ridiculously good. I don't know from their personal customer service but if it's anything like their delivery it should be 5 Stars.

I was looking for something to hold my large number of CD's and this did the trick. At first I thought it was too big but I know this will stand the test of time because it's well made. I retired the many little CD cases I had with glee.

I like these cases very much. It was time to do away with all the CD cases, so used these to store both the CD books and CDs right along side each other. They worked very well, take up much less space than the original cases and easier to find the CD I'm looking for.
