Summary:

I looked at a lot of cases for my GPS and based on the reviews here bought this one. For the same price as a quality case that would only hold the GPS this case also holds the accessories. Major plus is that it my Garmin Portable Friction Dashboard Mount for nüvi Series and StreetPilot C5XX Series GPS Navigators (C530, C550, and C580) which means I can put all signs of there being a GPS away in this case. Plus this is a much cleaner place to store your friction dashmount so it doesn't lose its tackiness from dirt and grime. In addition to just hiding the accessories, my wife then removes the GPS's holding case to fit in her purse and shoves the larger case under the car seat (it is too large for a glovebox, but if it were smaller it might not hold everything).

Pros:
Cost is on par with a quality GPS only case
Holds large friction dashmount & power cord
Case is as rugged as any zipper/hinge case can get

Cons:
Too large for glovebox
No carrying strap

Conclusion:

In the end the cons are minimal and I highly recommend this case. If you intend to use a friction dashmount I would say this should be considered a necessity to keep it clean.

Alternative:

If you are just looking for something really rugged to protect just your GPS checkout the OtterBox 2000 Waterproof Electronics Case or the Case Logic GPSP-2 Professional GPS Case for 4.3-Inch Flatscreens for around $20 shipped. I was going the Otterbox for my use but the Case Logic looked better for my wife's purse. Then I saw this one which ended the debate.

We're a big fan of this case. We use it for our Garmin wide-screen GPS and accessories. We found plenty of GPS cases out there but none of them could also hold our car charger, suction cup mount, etc. This case has plenty of room for the GPS and everything else we need. It has great organizers on the inside and a hard shell to protect the contents. I definitely recommend it for a GPS/accessory case.

Case Logic Portable Satellite Radio Case

This case is perfect for carrying a host of electronic equipment. I use it to carry the following:
Archos 605 Wi-Fi, Garmin C530 Street Pilot, Garmin Nuvi 680, Digital cameras and My Garmine Etrex Vista.

I pack this in my carry on back pack and then slide it under the seat in front of me prior to the airplane take off. Then I watch a movie or listen to music from the Archos.

Great case I own two, one for my wife and one for me.

Now that I have the Archos, I can get rid of one my other GPSs.

Glad I got this now it makes it so much easier to keep all my gps stuff together. I am going to get a few more as they are perfect for all of your small devices and hardware and acc.

I realy like this product but there still room for improvement. It doesn't have caring strap or a handle and it could be a little bigger.

Well made and totally proctects my Garmin GPS.Bought two. You can place it under your seat. It holds the complete unit plus the friction base (Garmin). Very pleased.

A nice little hard-sided case that keeps all your little (expensive) toys together and looking new!!

Lots of room, though adapters and plugs tend to be a little large these days.

Excellent item description. Excactly what was expected plus I received an extra carrying pouch!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would recomend this product to anyone who is looking for a sturdy pouch to carry their GPS and the ability for remove individual sleeves from within. It also holds my charger, other cords, and my i-pod.

This case isn't quite what I thought when I ordered it, but it is just as good as I expected. The case is hard. The inside "sections" are really just small cases with velcro that sticks to the inside of the hard case. This was annoying at first, but it does allow you to arrange the stuff any way that you want. After a while, I decided I liked it better that way.

Inexpensive, too.

Nice roomy hardcased clamshell that can hold everything. You can even put a sandwich in it.

This is more of a "store it all case" instead of something small (like for a mini hard drive) you can just toss in the arm rest box or glove compartment.

Of course it's Case-logic and it's made quite well.
