This bag is made of a medium weight canvas material. It doesn't seem as well padded as my old neoprene sleeve (Poppy PC Laptop Sleeve -Tangerine) but it has enough if the sleeve will be put inside another bag OR you will only be using it for light travel/commute. It's a snug, but not too snug, fit for my 15" MacBook Pro with Speck Products case. The pocket on the front is roomy and can hold the power adapter and/or some papers/keys/etc. Don't get carried away though. Too much and it gapes open in between the velcro tabs. Construction seems pretty solid. Seems like the canvas would do a decent job of repelling spills, at least long enough for you to clean it up.

Thought there'd be a shoulder strap on this, from the image on the page, but it's just a sleeve with a handle. Durable material, lots of pocket space. Very good buy!

I got this case because I wanted something with pockets so I could store my power cord and mouse, and this works perfectly! My laptop slides right in and fits inside snugly, and the outside pocket has plenty of room for all my accessories. The material is a nice canvas, and it's very stylish. You carry the case vertically by the side strap, or you can fit it inside of another bag.

Don't be misled, this bag has no shoulder strap! I thought that thing in the picture was a shoulder strap, but it's just a little handle for carrying the bag, and not attached very well. If you have a heavy laptop, this bag is probably going to be too much to carry with the provided handle.

This fits my wide screen laptop perfectly, not to mention it's pretty stylish. The fit is snug, no room to move around, it is nicely padded and the canvas is a good sturdy material. The case seems well made, the seams are all strong and durable. My power cord, wireless mouse and mouse pad all fit in the outside pocket without a problem. Would highly recommend this.

I got this laptop case for christmas. I love the fabric. It is made really well. My only complaint is that it is a really snug fit for my Dell laptop. There is barely enough room in the extra pocket to fit my power cord and mouse. I take my laptop to school with me and I have to be really careful when putting everything in the case. I have to make the cord as flat as possible so that it fits in the case. Overall, I still like the case, but I wish it was a little bigger so that I can fit everything in the case more easily.

I got this yesterday and I was surprised how thin it was. I had to confirm that if it is well padded and carries a cord, a mouse AND a tablet. And it does! It's only fit for your laptop and I thought the whole time it had shoulder strap. But instead you can hold it in your hands or use that side strap to carry it around. The straps are well sewed into the bag and I think it's really noticeable that it has a laptop in it unlike Caselogic SNMB-15F 15.4-Inch Fullsize Canvas Messenger Bag with Laptop Storage (Green) and Caselogic SNMB-15 15.4-Inch Canvas Messenger Bag with Laptop Storage (Green). This is convenient to me because I needed a case that can put all the accessory together when I travel and it fits into a backpack or luggage.

Great bag!!! Fits my hp just perfect. Light weight and pocket in the front has more then enough room for my charger and other items. Only thing I did not like was that it did not include a shoulder strap. I bought a shoulder strap separate and now I carry my laptop everywhere.

i'm another one of those people who bought this bag thinking it had a strap rather than the goofy handle on the side like it has. every case logic bag i own has adjustable straps that make no sense, like the one on this handle and the ones at the top of the straps on this bag i have Case Logic SNB-15F 15.4-Inch Fullsize Canvas Lifestyle Backpack (Blue) only in charcoal to match this bag, though the backpack came first and i loved it so much i got this shuttle i hate the handle frankly. it's inconvenient and kind of makes me uncomfortable, worrying that something's going to slip out of the front pocket.
other than the stupid strap thing, it's a pretty decent bag. make sure you look at the word "shuttle" in the title. this is a bag meant to get your laptop/netbook from here to there short distance. it's not the most padded/protective case you'll find, but it's nice that way when you're just carrying it around town and don't need to worry about a ton of protection.
it's quite roomy on the inside. i carry my netbookAcer eMachines eM250-1162 Netbook - 10.1" LED / Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz / 1GB Ram / 250GB HD / 802.11g/g Wireless LAN / Webcam / Windows 7 Starter and my kindleKindle Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G, 6" Display, White - 2nd Generation in it, with a piece of electronics foam in between them so they don't bang around on each other. if i'm not carrying the kindle, i can squeeze in a these headphones Sony MDR-XB300 30mm XB Diaphragm Driver Extra Bass Headphones which are pretty big, but fit fairly well in a pinch.
if i could change anything other than the goofy strap thing, i'd secure the front pocket a different way. i really hate trusting my chargers, ipodApple 30 GB iPod with Video Playback Black (5th Generation),ear buds,etc to velcro strips. i've never had a problem, mind you, but i do worry something small might find it's way to the edge and falls, since i have to carry it on it's side. OH! and i'd add a bottle opener like so many other of my case logic bags have! handy as heck!
all together, this is a really decent shuttle, as long as you judge it as what it is, a shuttle, not a full service, full featured rough and tumble case.

Some people reviewing this are either too damn picky or they don't look at what they are buying. If you look at the picture closely of course there is no shoulder strap, this is because it's not meant to be a backpack just something to keep your laptop safe. the front storage compartment does have quite a bit of space, i can fit my recovery disks, web cam, mouse, digital camera, the charger, and a couple extra wires comfortable with out creating much of a bulge. I suppose i can fit a few more things if i wanted to but i don't so i wont. I love the canvas material it is alot better than nylon and i think it's more durable and better made then most carrying cases. the padding on the inside protects the laptop very well, i tested it by droping it down my stairs (about 15 feet) and the laptop works like a charm. I highly recommend this if your looking for something simple just to carry your laptop around in or just to store your laptop when not in use. i also recommend reading and thinking before you buy something to make sure it's what your looking for. there is nothing misleading on the ad for this so don't blame the product for your error.
