This backpack is pretty much my mobile home. It fits my laptop perfectly and I've been nothing but happy with it since I got it. I bought it for grad school because I needed to carry my rather large laptop and books and pencils and such with me everywhere I go on a large campus and it has plenty of room for all of my stuff! And the extra padding on the inside keeps my laptop safe and separate from my books. It's great. I made the right choice when I chose this one over any of the others. The straps are very sturdy and comfortable too and don't hurt my shoulders. Love this backpack!

my big 17" laptop was SWIMMING in the lap top compartment, & it's embarrassingly HUGE. too bad because i really liked it otherwise. i'm returning this one and ordering the 15" & i have a feeling that might even be a little big. It's a good size if you're going on a hiking/camping trip... no joke. A+ on all the pockets for organization too. well made & cool design

I had the hardest time trying to find a backpack to fit my 17" Dell Precision workstation - it's no thin macbook pro. This backpack fits it easily, has great pockets and space and I like the way that it opens at the top - making it harder for stuff to fall out. I haven't worn this backpack for any long length of time, so I can't comment on how comfortable it would be for that but for the normal activity I've needed it for it's been great!

It is quite large, but it works just perfectly for what I need it for. I'll be able to fit my purse, my lunch, my laptop, and various other stuff and things. You cannot park a car in it and there is no extra universe in the side pocket though. Sorry. It seems quite well made and sturdy. The pocket for the laptop is as well padded as anything else I've used. It is lighter than the picture here and the material has a weathered look. The graphic isn't obnoxious and the straps appear to be reinforced pretty well. I'm a very picky bag buyer with pretty exact needs and I'm quite happy with m purchase.

I used this bag on a recent trip. I did like the fact that this backpack had plenty of room. I still had to fumble around to find things inside but I will have to work that out. I was happy not to have to carry my laptop separately. I also like the canvas material which made it pretty sturdy. I didn't like the fact that it covered my entire back and then some! I am short. I had to just carry it as a tote bag because of how high it was on my back.

I bought this back pack for my self for my trip to Sweden to see my parents and siblings and being on planes and air ports and the trip it self, this back back was very durable. It still looks like new.
It was very easy to handle and good looking too.
Getting my lap top out for the security checks were no problem.
I am very pleased with this purchase.

Awesome backpack. Plenty of room but not to big either. Lots of zippered pockets and the shoulder straps are very comfortable. This backpack will hold up, carry your laptop with peripherals(and more), and has a great look too. Good value through Amazon.

This is my second case. I love them both and highly recommend them. Heavy duty and takes a lot of abuse.

After the 3 bags I have now had for various laptops I decided to go with a backpack style. With this bag space will never be an issue. It fits my 17in laptop with space to spare along with various components I may carry including a laptop cooler. The front pouch is the perfect size to fit the book shelf styled external hard drives allowing for larger storage (1+ GB) on hand with your laptop. I am very pleased with the quality and the price is just right!

This backpack is wonderful. It's large enough to be convenient without being too overbearing. It's durable, comfortable, stylish, and has a good amount of pockets, which is useful for someone like me who gets confused by too many pockets. It will keep your laptop safe.

My problem was ordering it from Amazon. The shipping date was almost two weeks after I would start school, and the estimated delivery date just seemed ridiculous. I went to the Case Logic website, and though it was a couple dollars more for basic shipping, they shipped it the next day, and it showed up two days later.

If you love this backpack, order it straight from the Case Logic site. For only a few dollars more, you get it to you in record time.
