I was looking for a rolling case that would fit in the overhead on small regional jets.
This one does. Plus Case Logic Warranty is GREAT. See below.

Pockets could be better organized (the only thing not giving it 5 stars).

I works well with my carry-on luggage. I am able to hook it to my luggage and roll both.
It is stable, does not tip.

Update after 6 months of usage.

Fabric on bottom of case is wearing away from rolling thru airports... I put some black gaffer tape on it.
Wheels and handle are holding up well.
Fits on all of regional jet overheads.. Some need a good shove(Delta), but it does fit.

Update... 11 months in...

Zipper on the middle compartment has failed.. Wheels and handle in good shape..
Called the vendor, within 5 minutes I had a form in my inbox for a claim. Within 5 days I had a replacement bag.
All at no charge. Pretty easy, just emailed them the form with 2 photo's. 1 to show what failed, 1 to show the front of bag with logo.
For the money, you can't do better.

I look for quite some time for a laptop case. Couldn't decide if I wanted just a case or one that will hold other things. Decided that I had so many other gadgets that I would just get the one on rollers and I could just put everything in there. There is enough room to hold everything, plus the extra compartment that will hold overnight clothes if I choose.
I am so glad that I chose this one.
The price was very reasonable also.

I love my case logic 17" laptop case. My MacBook Pro 17" fits perfectly and there is plenty of room for my portable office supplies.

The design of this case is awesome. So many great compartments, smartly organized, useful. The problem with it is the stupid handle! I ordered one for my father-in-law. He loved it. The handle wouldn't full extend. So he exchanged it, and got one with a working handle. My mother-in-law loved the design, so she ordered one, then had the same handle problem. It's very frustrating. She sent it back and is looking for a different case just to avoid the handle issue, even though she really likes it. Now I want to find a rolling case and even though I do really like the design of this one, I hesitate to buy it, or any other by Case Logic. Please, fix it!

Used this on my last trip well made. Fits under seat on plane. Rollers work nice and handle seems well built.

This appears to be a well-made, sturdy specialty bag[not quite luggage] for the protection and transport of your lap top computer and a few other files and items. It is one of those items that either you need and find very useful... or... you don't really need and it will just collect dust. I would really think about what your transport needs are for your laptop and then examine this carefully before buying... Busy students likely will still need the old backpack on shoulder... there isn't sufficient room to carry the days materials with the laptop... but if you make it back home during the day you could swap out what your finished with for what's ahead... Now, for those who use this for business travel, there is only room for perhaps a change of shirt and pants, etc. ...it won't handle a full weekend of clothes or a jacket...just saying you will have something to check in too if going for more than overnight... I wouldn't check this bag in though... It isn't quite up to the rigorous tests that airport automation and handlers would put it through... the 109.99 retail is way too high for this...look for a good sale 40 to 50 percent off. A nice case for light duty transport of your laptop will take the weight off of you for a while...

I have tried several bags to fit my 17" Macbook Pro and all of the other things I need to take to the office daily and have been disappointed by most. This one seems to be an exception. The sections of the bag are well thought out and I can get the computer and iPad in the same place. There is ample room for accessories in the front pocket and room for an overnight trip of clothes when necessary.

I decided that it was time to finally stop carrying around 20 lbs on my shoulder and buy a rolling laptop case - so this one seemed to fit the bill for my 17" Sony Vaio. For the most part it's a great case, it's good quality, sturdy, the computer compartment is easy to access, which is a plus at airport security, there are a lot of compartments to store stuff in (the overnight compartment makes it even better) and it can fit under the seat in front of you on a number of airlines - although I find it can sometimes be a bit cumbersome to store in overhead compartments. The roller function is very smooth and I haven't had problems with it, the handle expands and contracts quickly but you seem to really need to press the button down all the way to get it to work. It was nice to actually be able to walk around in airports instead of being confined to a seat because my laptop bag was too heavy to schlep around. My only major problem with it is actually that it has no capacity for shoulder straps, even though it is a lot to carry on the shoulder, it would have been ideal for shorter periods especially when dealing with a lot of other luggage or bulky items - which consequently at several points in my travels made this laptop case very troublesome to have with me. That is the only thing I would improve on it though. Overall it's a very good purchase, especially if you just have one other bag or use it as your only bag.

This case is perfect. A place for your laptop and a few other things. A place for your tickets (front compartment) or a book. A place (large place too) for a few items of clothing or what ever else you might need to take with you on the flight.

And it is cool that the handle can be enclosed. That way it has less of a chance to get snagged on something and possibly ruined.

It is sturdy and well built. It fits in the overhead compartment easily. All in all, it is a very nice case. And I would recommend it to family and friends.

Great bad but my 17.3 in dell doesn't fit in the laptop slot, its too wide.it.does however fit in the bigger open slot
