As a new Case Manager I found this book to an excellent reference book. The information was concise and practical. A must fo Case Manager's who are starting out. Gives great descriptions of teminology and the differneces in all health care systems. The legal and ethical material provided offer much for the working case manager.

I have read several books on case management in the last year. This informative book gives concise information on the history, finance, roles, models,documentation and measuring quality and effectiveness of CM. Espcially helpful was referenes to JCAHO and CM. Well worth the money

This is an excellent resource for the CCM exam and I would recommend this book in preparation for and future reference. Good luck!

This book is highly recommended by healthcare managers. It is very detailed and includes "how to" documents for things like quality mapping and the like.

This book has a lot of good ideas in it. Some of the text seems to be a bit wordy. This book had a lot more material in it than previous editions. I ordered a less expensive book thinking it was the 2003 edition and had to send it back as it was an earlier edition and not as complete.

This is the newest edition of this title. It was purchased as a used book. The book arrived early and in excellent condition. The authors present in a very readable manner. This is listed as one of the books in the Case Management Certification courses. I highly recommend the purchase of this book as one of your reference guides for the seasoned Case Manager seeking certification, my category, or for the student seeking language and knowledge.
